How You Can Help

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's) are very important assets to a community because of the provision of a medical home to the uninsured and underinsured populations. Across the United States, FQHC's have dramatically decreased the burden of health costs to hospitals, area businesses, and the community through the reduction of unnecessary emergency room visits, shorter lengths of hospital stays, and lower hospital admission rates. Infant mortality rates have also decreased. In addition to receiving quality primary medical and dental care, health education - with a focus on the importance of health prevention - is available. This service also includes counseling on diet, physical activity, smoking, drinking, drug use, and the prevention of STD's.

Ohio North East Health Systems is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.  As such,  we are able to accept tax deductible donations to provide primary health and dental care to individuals in need as we continue to fulfill our mission to improve the health and well-being of people in our communities by providing quality health care, particularly to the uninsured and underinsured. All charitable donations are pooled, unless otherwise specified, into a fund to increase the caring impact that is afforded by this mission.
